Three Things You Don’t Know About the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ

Just 900 of the Aventador SVJ were ever made. What? You didn’t know that? That’s not even on our list of what you don’t know about the SVJ. In that case, make sure to read our feature on the Lamborghini Aventador after you finish here.

The Super Veloce Jota (SVJ) is a member of the Lamborghini Aventador family. The "Jota" is there to remind those who haven't noticed yet that this hypercar loves the circuits. The SVJ pushes the boundaries of the supercar status with its ultra-futuristic design and enhanced patented Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva 2.0 (ALA 2.0).

Alright, enough preaching to the choir.

What You Don’t Know About the Aventador SVJ

1.     It’s very fast

Even grandma knows the Lambo is a fast car. The Aventador SVJ isn’t just a fast car, though. Did you know it is the first-ever production car to hold the Nurburgring lap record at 6:44:97 minutes? It could do that with 530 pound-feet of torque and the ability to break 217 mph. But what really flies the SVJ is the ALA 2.0 aerodynamic breakthrough.

2.     It has Active Suspension Technology

The SVJ’s front and rear shock absorbers are capable of split-second reaction times. Whew! The Active Suspension technology utilizes the magnetorheological (MR) suspension system, allowing for a more stable, smoother ride on rough terrains.

3.     An even rarer SVJ

Sadly, all 900 units of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ are snapped up by the one-percenters. An even rarer SVJ you may only see on the pages of Robb Report magazine is the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ roadster Xago Edition. Customers help create the bespoke Xago without traveling to Lamborghini's Ad Personam department in Italy. Only 10 Xagos exist.
